Lil Wayne A Father Again

I know stories of Lil Wayne welcoming a new baby are getting old, but Nivea gave birth November 30th. The little boy was named Neal Carter. Kind of reminds me of Nell Carter, but at least they didn't give the poor boy some crazy Hollywood name. Wayne's other baby mama's tweeted their congratulations on the new arrival, because as crazy as the situation is they know to behave like adults (at least in public).

And speaking of Wayne's baby mamas, we finally get to see the mystery baby mama, Sarah and her son. They attended the birthday party of Lil Wayne's only daughter, Reginae.

Wayne, who is due to be sentenced 15 December on gun possession charges, will be in prison soon. So he will get a break from all that baby making. And maybe he has learned a lesson. He doesn't seem to have gotten any women pregnant in almost a year. At least any that the public know about.

Tiger Issues Apology and Basically Admits To Being A Cheat

Here is a statement that Tiger Woods issued via his official website. And he pretty much comes out and admits that the wholesome family man image was nothing more than an act. I wonder if it has anything with Jamie Grubb, cocktail waitress and VH1 Tool Academy contestant coming forward. She is claiming to have proof that they were doing "it." And claims they started having sex within days of Elin giving birth to her first child. But I'm rambling. Here is his apology.

I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.
Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect.

But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don't share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions.
Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult.
I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology.

MTV Teen Moms

MTV will be bringing back four of the mothers from their hit show, 16 and Pregnant. And trust me, the first episode shows how unglamorous it is to be a teen mother. We get to watch Farrah, Maci, Amber, and Catelynn juggle taking care of their babies with trying to build lives that hover somewhere between being a teenager and adulthood. The show is good enough that my 91year old grandmother watched and enjoyed it.

Teen Mom premieres on Tuesday, December 8 at 10:00pm ET/PT and will have eight one-hour episodes. And check here on Monday, because I will be interviewing Farrah. Farrah is my favorite, because she reminds me of myself almost two decades ago.

Spoiler: Catelynn and Tyler had unprotected sex after giving up their daughter for adoption!!! I was shocked. I assumed that they would be the one pair that wouldn't make that mistake again. You have to watch Teen Moms, and if you have teenagers make them watch it to. Until next week, you can watch full episodes here.

Tiger Woods' Piece On The Side Speaks

The so-called "other woman" whose name has surfaced in the wake of Tiger Woods's accident has hired a high-profile celebrity lawyer and issued an adamant denial of any relationship with the golfing champ.( I still wonder how much her denial is costing him.)

"I did not have any involvement with him [Woods]," Rachel Uchitel told E! News. "Whatever was written in the Enquirer was not said by me, it was said by two people that claimed they were friends of mine, but they're not."

She added: "I am overwhelmed, so I hired Gloria Allred to handle the situation. I don't want to get this much attention, and I wish everybody would leave me alone." (You don't hire Gloria Allred because you want privacy. You hire Gloria Allred to work out your book deal, press interviews, and if you are attractive enough, your Playboy deal.)

Just days before Woods, 33, crashed his car near his Florida home, the National Enquirer claimed he'd been carrying on a romance with the New York nightclub manager. Following the crash, rumors swirled that Woods's wife, Elin, had argued with the golfer about an affair just before the accident, and that she had caused the scratches police found on his face.

In a statement after the accident, which took place early in the morning after Thanksgiving, Woods denied "the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors." He also asked for everyone to respect his privacy, and has repeatedly canceled interviews with police.

Sources contradict Uchitel's account, however, saying she's claimed flings not only with Woods but with actor David Boreanaz, and that her mother has told friends her daughter has dated New York Yankee players Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez.

"She is a fun party girl; she was definitely into celebrities," a source tells PEOPLE. "She's into being around famous people. Her job was to rack up VIP clientele. She is a flirtatious girl." (She sounds a bit like Super Head to me. You know Super Head, the video girl that rappers passed around like a blunt.)

Why Is Tiger Woods Getting Special Treatment

Florida police, who have twice been turned away from Tiger Woods's home, have canceled Sunday's plans to speak to the golf great about his outside the posh home Friday.

"The troopers went to the house to see if they could speak with Mr. Woods. Mr. Woods's attorney was present and told investigators that Mr. Woods was unavailable for an interview," FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes e-mails PEOPLE. "Mr. Woods's attorney provided the troopers with Mr. Woods's driver's license information, registration and current proof of insurance as required by Florida Law. The crash investigation is ongoing and charges are pending."

With the legal requirements fulfilled, his silence, coupled with the facts already known about the incident, are fueling speculation about the possibility of a heated, even physical, argument between the golfer and his wife, Elin Nordegren, preceding the accident.

(This is the version of the story that sounds most likely to be true.Something is rotten in Denmark, or whatever Nordic country Mr. Woods bought his wife from. This whole thing probably would have gone away if Tiger just would have talked to police. Is it really that shocking that another professional athlete is having an affair on his wife.)

Earlier, Montes said FHP investigations into minor collisions don't normally drag on for days, but "it's happened before."

"This is not the first time that we've gone back to get a statement from a driver ... We try and give the driver every opportunity to tell us their side of the story before we complete our investigation," she told the Associated Press.

Woods's SUV has been towed to a private yard with damage to the front end and both back-seat windows broken.  (Sounds like someone has been busting windows out of cars.)

Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal is reporting elements of a 911 call made by a neighbor, who evidently heard the crash and "wanted help."

According to the transcript, the caller tells the 911 operator that "there's a man on the ground" and he appeared to be unconscious but breathing.

The call came in at 2:28 a.m. Friday and police arrived at 2:33 a.m., the Journal reports. Woods was taken to a hospital because of injuries to his face and then released.

The accident came two days after the National Enquirer published a story alleging that Woods had been seeing New York night club hostess Rachel Uchitel, and that they recently were together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.(I bet that this is what Tiger is trying to cover up. An affair wouldn't help his wholesome image any, and could even cost him an endorsement deal or two.)

Uchitel denies any relationship with Woods. (Wonder how much that cost him?)

Thanksgiving Menu

Here is my menu for Thanksgiving, along with all the links to the recipes. I'm still on a quest for the perfect Thanksgiving menu. I grew up in a house where the food was rather bland and unimaginative, and I am really working on changing that. I will try to post pictures while I am cooking.

Spice-Rubbed Roast Turkey (I hope following Martha Stewart's recipe can help me along the path to a turkey that isn't raw at the bone.)
Cornbread Stuffing (From a box. That's the way it's always been made at my house. The kids love the crap. And the wee tyrant will eat tons of it. And I will do anything to get extra calories into him.)
Tamales (Made by a neighbor. She has quite the thriving business going.)
Baked Sweet Potatoes with Orange Caramel Glaze
Green Beans with Lemon and Oil (Will somebody please explain green bean casserole to me. I just do get the onion bits. Or even worse, I saw a recipe on television where they used corn flakes. Yuck!)

Collard Green Pie (This goes along with the tamales. I like to remind the family that we are ethnic.)
Sweet Potato Pie (Another great southern dish. My grandmother has spent the last two days baking them.)
Carrot Cake with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting (Either mini cakes or cupcakes. Update: I added a pinch of saffron to the oil.)
Oven Baked Toffee Apples
Pear Crostata (I don't have a recipe. I will try to post directions with pictures. I think I will be using Asian pears.)
